In an "all fired up" state

Allstate insurance has pounced on the recent fire in my apartments, finding two ways of advertising their renter's insurance to me. This strikes me as indelicate advertising (if not downright unscrupulous profiteering). Why weren't they advertising here before the fire?

Bachelor-Pad Thai

I've been working on my Pad Thai recipe, and this evening I cooked up some pretty good veggies with rice noodles. It's not quite "foodgasmic" yet, but my recipe revisions were a success. (The use of the word "foodgasm" on Iron Chef America, however, was not.) I live by myself, and thus I alone get to enjoy all of my sweet, succulent, spicy-sauced Siamese stir-fry! It's too bad none o'y'all can enjoy it.
